Our programs are created with young community leaders in mind. No matter how big or small the action, we have opportunities that allow you to make an impact. This is how we do it:
Coach
We provide members with resources and tools to learn more about the issues you care about no matter where you are in your impact journey, we’ll help you get to the next step. Our programming is created to help you discover your voice and make an impact.
Champion
We support a select number of rising leaders with grants and scholarships to celebrate your progress on the road to impact. These leaders are celebrated for their work and serve as inspiration for the leaders that will come behind them.
Connect
We create opportunities for young people to convene and network, in-person and online. DoSomething is all about sparking peer-to-peer dialogue. With safe and trusted spaces our members can unite under shared goals for the future.
Boldly Go Green
Changmakers are pledging to participate in a 2-day, nationwide weekend dedicated to creating a better future through climate-related actions and volunteerism in January 2026. They will lead their own events, or join other events to plant trees, upcycle clothing, or upcycle and donate used blankets and towels to animal shelters.
DoSomething for Others
Powerful young people are coming together to take action and build connected, healthy, and sustainable communities nationwide! By getting started in any of our featured volunteer opportunities and social change actions, young community leaders are earning volunteer credit hours and a signed certificate.
The Wavemakers
Impact-driven young people are creating long-lasting change in protecting our waterways. Wavemakers nationwide are cleaning up the pollution and trash accumulating in their streets, sidewalks, parks, and drains long before they enter major bodies of water, and they're raising awareness about responsible trash disposal in their communities.
Spot the Scam
Spot the Scam gives young people the tools they need to protect themselves and their friends from online scams. The initiative helps them learn how to recognize and report scam tactics, keep their money safe, and build real financial confidence.
Show Up for What!?
Our Show Up for What!? program - previously known as Art of Democracy - provides the next generation of young leaders with the identity, knowledge and agency to become a force for change — both in and out of the voting booth.
