Share Why YOU Took the Pledge

Staying offline is important to me because I have seen the results of texting and driving first hand. I am a volunteer firefighter and the amount of car wrecks that I have responded to due to driver negligence, is astounding.”

Cooper, 18

I hope to remind others that we do not need to take unnecessary risks on the road. Our cellular devices do not need to control our lives so much that we are glued to them. We must prioritize the general safety of our community.”

Naomi, 18

Staying offline is very important to me because I want the confidence and ability to stay safe while driving, especially as a new driver.”

Orion, 15

Staying offline while driving is very important to me because I have experienced loss due to distracted driving. Being on your phone while driving distracts you from the road and is dangerous, not only for you, but for anyone else on the road.”
