Street Sweep cleanups are part of the Love Your Happy Place℠ campaign, a national and local coalition of nonprofit partners focused on creating cleaner and greener communities.

In partnership with Keep Colorado Beautiful, a Colorado based statewide non-government organization built on stewardship, accountability, and pride of place. They are led by people with deep roots in Colorado’s communities and real experience in environmental, civic, and operational leadership.

In partnership with the Love Your Happy Place℠ campaign, young changemakers joined us for Street Sweep clean-up events in California, and took action to keep their streets, parks, and waterways clean.

YOU DID THAT!

As part of the Love Your Happy Place℠ campaign, I Love A Clean San Diego and DoSomething partnered for a Valentine’s Day Cupid's Cleanup at Southcrest Recreation Center, in San Diego, CA.

88 volunteers helped to clean up over 877 pounds of trash and debris, and showed San Diego love by diverting litter from our watersheds and keeping it from traveling to the Pacific Ocean.

NYC Cleanups

Young changemakers joined us for Street Sweep clean-up events in New York City, to collectively remove trash from their streets and parks before it enters our waterways.

BROOKLYN SHOWED UP!

Thank you to all the DoSomething members and community leaders like Arnold Ludd + James Viafara, along with the support of the Brooklyn Borough President’s Office, and Council Member Chi Ossé, who showed up for their city to help clean up and around Fulton Park in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn.

Together you kept 1,405 lbs of trash and debris out of our shared waterways! Thank you to all the young changemakers who dedicated their time and service to make an impact. This event was made possible by the Love Your Happy Place℠ campaign.
