Results: You’re a Carpool Karaoke Champ!
You might not be riding with Chole and Halle Bailey, but you’re always down for some carpool karaoke. We get it: everyone loves to crush some vocals...but super loud singing can be distracting to the driver (even if that singing is beautiful). Here are ways you can belt it out and also stay safe in the vehicle.
Do (actual) karaoke with friends.
Grab a great BOP from YouTube and host a karaoke night with friends at home - sing your heart out!
A Shower Solo!
Your shower, your rules. Belt your faves as loudly as you want. That way you’ll be all sung out (and maybe a little hoarse?) by the time you hit the road.
Create a playlist before you hit the road.
If you have a tendency to drive, sing, and DJ all at the same time, make a road trip playlist beforehand so you can keep both hands on the wheel.
...about how well you know your bestie, and share with them a road safety guide. You could earn a $2,000 scholarship!
Keep Your Friends & Family Safe on the Road
Everyone knows speeding is dangerous, but warnings from parents and scare tactics from ads don’t change the behavior of young drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. Know who can? YOU! Share these tips to keep friends and family safe in and around vehicles.
Is your friend constantly DJing behind the wheel?
Tell them to make a playlist before you hit the road!
Is your friend constantly on the brink of road rage?
Make them a playlist of relaxing music for the road. Another idea? Daily meditation...just not while they’re driving (obviously). Send them an app like Headspace, which can be really effective in keeping them calm on the road...and, ya know, everywhere else.
Is your friend always walking across the street while texting?
Suggest that they “pull over” on the sidewalk to send a text or like a photo. They’ll stay safe in the street -- and be less likely to make an awkward typo. Crisis averted!
