2026 RECIPIENTS

Cailyn, 17
Offline Mode | 30-Day Streak
$1,500
"Staying offline, especially while driving, is incredibly important to me because in such a car-dependent society, we not only have an obligation to keep ourselves safe, but to keep those around us safe as well. The best way we can keep each other safe is by doing away with all the unnecessary distractions while behind the wheel.

Aniya, 18
Offline Mode | 7-Day Streak
$500
“Doing this challenge was deeply important to me because it turned a vague awareness about distracted driving into a daily, tangible commitment. I took the Pledge not just for myself, but for my parents, who travel constantly for work and spend hours on unfamiliar roads. I knew that lecturing them about phone safety would never stick, so decided to show them instead.

Felicitas, 22
Project STEM Heroes
$1,500
“Project STEM Heroes is deeply personal to me because I’m interested by how access to education can transform someone’s future. As an aerospace engineering student, I have experienced firsthand how many talented students face financial barriers that can make STEM seem out of reach.

Adalie, 23
Wavemakers | Love 5280
$1,500
“We often think of the trash in our oceans first when we think of litter pollution. But we can stop trash from entering the ocean, where it is much harder to retrieve, long before it ever comes into contact by addressing the litter we see in our communities.

Samira, 18
Wavemakers | Love 5280
$500
“Being a part of the Denver Love 5280 Street Sweep program didn’t just allow me to get out of my comfort zone by meeting and interacting with other volunteers, but it actually allowed all of us to work together as a team to motivate and educate one another about the importance of keeping our streets and waterways clean.

Lucas, 18
Project STEM Heroes
$1,500
“This campaign was important to me because I know how one moment of inspiration can change a person’s future. When I was eleven, I rode Disney’s Rise of theResistance and became fascinated by the STEM behind the story. That curiosity led me to engineering and my dream of becoming a Disney Imagineer.

Kellie, 15
Project STEM Heroes
$1,500
“As an elementary schooler, I used to always think STEM was only for the kids who enjoyed doing our multiplication drill problems, or filled with boring days of doing 1+1 over and over again. However, as I got older, I was fortunate enough to find many amazing mentors who taught me otherwise, and somehow managed to turn me (who thought I was a hardcore humanities kid) into a STEM kid.

Haley, 21
The Wavemakers
$1,500
“This campaign is important to me because it allows participants to spread information about the impacts of aquatic trash and how we can help in our everyday lives. While conducting research to create my PSA video, I learned that the majority of aquatic trash originates on our streets as litter before wind and rain carry it into waterways.

Ziyon, 17
Street Sweep
$500
“This campaign is personal to me because we only get one Oakland. And I believe, with everything I have, that the people of Oakland have both the power to do what's right and the strength to overcome the challenge of pollution: together. Too often, our community is dismissed; stereotyped as people who don't care about where we live.

Saanvi, 18
Ripple Effect
$250
“On my flight back from visiting Indiana University Bloomington, I asked a flight attendant if I could make a quick announcement. She said yes. I had no slides and no polished script. I had a topic I could not stop thinking about and enough conviction to say something out loud. That moment became one of the most meaningful experiences of my trip, and it is the reason this campaign matters to me.

Gabriel, 15
Street Sweep
$500
“This campaign was important to me for several reasons. The Street Sweep campaign had an admirable goal for young people to take action regarding pollution in their community. Seeing the pollution in my own community was eye opening but also made me realize how much of an impact just one person can make.

Ana, 18
Ripple Effect
$250
“The first step in addressing any issue, after identifying it, is raising awareness and gaining public support. DoSomething focuses on mobilizing young individuals to take action, but before we empower them, we have to reach them, which is the focus of the Ripple Effect campaign.

Talia, 15
Project STEM Heroes
$1,500 + Trip to NYC Project Hail Mary Premiere
“STEM has been a constant in my life since I was young; when first learning about STEM, I found myself bored in class. Science rarely made sense for me, as elementary school science felt disorganized and I often did not understand any of the content. That all changed in eighth grade with my teacher, Mrs. Engler. She taught the eighth-grade biology class, and for the first time, science clicked.

Uyai, 17
Project STEM Heroes
$1,500 + Trip to NYC Project Hail Mary Premiere
“The STEM Heroes campaign is important to me because I know that being supported and inspired can have a major impact on any child’s future. Growing up, I used to watch Doc McStuffins all the time. I sat in front of the TV on weekends, humming to the tune of her theme song, inspired by her determination to help others. She was one of my first introductions to how it feels to be passionate about a cause at such a young age.

Amelia, 17
Boldly Go Green
$1,500
“By organizing this, I motivated myself and friends to donate our unused clothes to our community. We live in an area with very cold winters, our donations of coats and other clothes help supply low-income families with appropriate clothes for the weather.

Ekansh, 17
Boldly Go Green
$1,500
“Participating in Boldly Go Green was important to me because it allowed me to turn leadership into real, hands-on impact with animals. As president of my school’s Helping Hounds Club, which has over 150 members, I helped organize student volunteers at a local dog auction to support Our Pals Place shelter.

Toni, 22
Boldly Go Green
$1,500
“I completed a clothing swap and up-cycling event at Florida Atlantic University and lots of students passing by were very interested in up-cycling with embroidery. I think they had never thought of doing so and were so happy when I gave them back the finished project.
