Dr. Estefanía Pihen González

Originally from Costa Rica, Dr. González has worked in sustainability education in both the United States and internationally for more than 15 years. She is currently the Chief of Education and Learning at the California Academy of Sciences, and is responsible for leading the Academy’s extensive education and engagement programs, including several museum spaces.

Dr. Jalaal Hayes

Dr. Jalaal Hayes, a North Philadelphia native, is a pioneering figure in the field of clean energy. At just 22, Dr. Hayes made history by becoming Delaware State University’s youngest-ever Ph.D. graduate with his groundbreaking dissertation on hydrogen storage systems. Through his research, advocacy, and entrepreneurship, Dr. Hayes is shaping a cleaner, more sustainable future while empowering the next generation of innovators.

Kristy Drutman

Known as "Browngirl Green," Kristy is passionate about working at the intersections between media, diversity, and environmentalism. As a youth climate activist, she has spoken in front of thousands and facilitated workshops centered around environmental media and storytelling in cities across the United States. Kristy also Co-Founded The Green Jobs Board, an online platform bridging the equity and inclusion gap within the green economy.

We are fortunate to have Chenoah serve as the Senior Marketing Associate here at DoSomething. She is a proud graduate of Seton Hall University, where she studied Social and Behavioral Science and Political Science, and is passionate about community engagement. As former Miss New Jersey United States 2018, and the CEO of her own organization, she uses her platforms to empower young women through education and leadership opportunities.
