As the country continues to process and grapple with repeated news of devastating mass shootings, DoSomething wants to let you know that we see your sadness and hear your frustration--and that our hearts are also broken and we grieve with you.

The current news cycle is heavy. And, we’d be remiss if we didn’t address that heaviness head-on. Our hearts go out to the victims, families, students, and anyone impacted by gun violence in their communities.

We’re standing firm in our stance that gun violence is a public health crisis and we must address it as such. You, your peers, and your loved ones deserve to live in a world free from gun violence. The fact is that a vast majority of Americans support common-sense gun laws. There is strength in numbers and now is the time to act.

Remember that YOU have power.
