While most of their contributions involve supervising from sunny spots and occasionally sitting inside trash bags, organizers say “morale has never been higher.”

Neighborhood cats have also begun tackling cigarette butt litter through Get The Filter Out (GTFO). Their strategy mostly involves staring judgmentally at people who drop cigarette butts and dramatically pawing them toward a cleanup pile. Experts say it’s a bold approach to removing one of the most common forms of litter from streets and parks.

Several very stylish cats have begun sorting donations for Comeback Clothes, though investigators report they keep claiming the softest sweaters as personal nap zones.
