Closing the Loop on the Senior Homies Campaign

Check out the impact you made swapping 23,921 stories.

Hey,

Thank you SO much for participating in the Senior Homies campaign! DoSomething members like you swapped 23,921 stories, helping the older adults stay healthy and connected during these isolating times. That is seriously powerful stuff. I really appreciate it, and so do seniors around the country!

AND, the campaign and DoSomething member Bipasha got a shoutout on NBC’s Snapchat show!

Scholarship Winner

DoSomething member Samantha, 20, swapped stories with her grandmother and earned our Senior Homies scholarship!

Samantha says:

“One of my favorite stories of hers is when she got in trouble as a teen, because she had told her parents she was going to the library to study but went to an anti-war rally instead,” Samantha writes. “ They found out when she was on the front page of the newspaper. To this day she still shows up at women's marches and peaceful protests, she has such a big, kind heart and really wants to make a difference for humanity. And that's why I love her :)”
