What do you do (at DoSomething)?
Content & Creative Strategist, which means I'm usually either writing or ideating around our campaigns and editorial content.
1. Whatโs your pet cause?
Immigrant rights and digital equity/inclusion!
2. Who or what is guaranteed to make you laugh?
My best friend Mads, this TikTok, and the brilliant DoSomething campaign name: Hot Dogs.
3. What's something that you watch, read, or listen to to make you feel inspired?
Those videos where people pay off their parentsโ mortgage or debt. My parents immigrated to the United States from El Salvador before I was born, and my biggest goal is to repay their sacrifice.

4. Whatโs your guilty pleasure?
Reality TV -- everything from Jersey Shore to Cutthroat Kitchen.
5. What do people usually come to you for help with?
Relationship advice, makeup recommendations, and drafting risky texts.
6. What is your most overused emoji?
Iโm a big fan of ๐, but my friends know I LOVE to send a good ๐ฎ or :0.
7. What takes up too much of your time?
Playing video games -- for the past few months, my life has been largely consumed by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

8. What silly accomplishment or hidden talent are you most proud of?
When the trivia app QuizUp was really popular some years ago, I was #1 in the state of Arkansas for Pokemon trivia.
As far as hidden talents, Iโm REALLY good at packing suitcases. I can Tetris my way to fitting pretty much anything anywhere (I think it comes from all the moving around I did between going to college in Boston and now living in New York).
9. Whatโs something you know way too much about?
Evidently, Pokemon trivia. But probably also obscure internet history and culture.
10. What's the biggest change you'd like to see in the world in the next five years?
Generally speaking, Iโd like to live in a world where empathy and compassion outweigh competing interests (financial, political, etc).
11. Whatโs your favorite DoSomething memory or tradition?
I started at DoSomething as an intern, and on our last day, we threw an Area 51-themed party. Picture glow sticks, pipe-cleaner antennae, and LOTS of tin foil.
