As part of the Boldly Go Green program, and in celebration of the release of the new Paramount+ show Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, you pledge to join other DoSomething members across the country in a 2-day weekend of community-hosted, volunteer events near you.

That means you can plan to either host your own event, or join fellow cadets in-person at climate-related action events taking place nationwide! You can also join us at two flagship events in Los Angeles and in New York City.

All events will take place the weekend of Saturday, January 24, 2026 and Sunday, January 25, 2026.

You’ll have the opportunity to take eco-friendly actions that fit your community and interests, including:

  • Tree Planting & Reforestation
  • Upcycling Clothing Drive
  • Upcycling Blanket and Towel Drive for Animal Shelters

Together, YOU are the best and brightest on this planet.

Your environmental stewardship will help build a more sustainable world, and foster community resilience across multiple locations. You’ll also earn volunteer credits and be eligible for a $1,500 scholarship!
