DJing While Driving
Your friend answered three easy questions about your habits as a driver, passenger, pedestrian, or cyclist. Now they want to give you three clutch tips for staying safe on the road! Read this lil’ personal guide on how to steer clear of distracting music while driving.
1. Create a playlist before you hit the road.
If you have a tendency to drive, sing, and DJ all at the same time, make a road trip playlist beforehand so you can keep both hands on the wheel. Your vehicle, your rules, your songs. Also, your safety.
2. Invite a friend to DJ.
Hand the aux cord over to your friend with the best taste. Maybe you even cut them a deal: they can DJ while you drive, and you can DJ while they do.
3. Do (actual) karaoke with friends.
What’s better (and safer) than carpool karaoke? Actual karaoke with friends -- endless songs, great acoustics, and no danger to yourself and others (unless you count fried vocal cords). Another option: look up instrumentals on YouTube and host a karaoke night at home!
