Meet The Young Co-Designers That Helped Design DoSomething’s Glow Up!

Shoutout to the next-gen visionaries behind our transformation, and here’s what they envisioned for our new brand.

Real talk: if a brand truly wanted to support Gen Z and Gen Alpha, they should probably let y’all in behind the scenes to help pave the way or set the course.

So that’s exactly what we did!

We invited seven young co-designers to hang, ideate, and collab with us on how DoSomething’s platform should evolve in order to help today’s young people do something about the causes they care about…or basically give you the tools in your toolbox to change the world and to channel your passion into action.

Your peers are inventive co-designers who generously opened up and shared their vision for what showing up in the world to create change could look and sound like, and how we could help support their–and your–efforts (our fave thing to do, BTW). They inspired us to go beyond changing just our colors and fonts, challenging us to dive deeper into how we could show up more dynamically for you, better connect you with others in your community, champion you towards success, and how to be the unshakable coach and mentor you need to cheer you on your way to building a safer, kinder, and fairer world.

Taking into account the much-needed and valuable feedback from these designers, we were able to land the plane on an overall vision. And the results are 🔥🔥🔥.

Each co-designer spent an engaging four whole weeks, alongside us and our besties at IDEO.org–a design consulting firm–to brainstorm ideas and create ways to use our new brand to leave a more effective and compelling imprint with the next generation, and the communities they serve.
