PROBLEM Half of Americans think pursuing STEM careers is too hard but when people understand how science provides opportunities to improve the world, it's one of the most effective ways to encourage students to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

SOLUTION People who improve the world are actual heroes. Show the ways that STEM improves the world by creating a superhero and exploring how they use their STEM expertise to make the world better.

ACTION Did you know most superhero abilities have a lot of overlap with STEM subjects you might not have considered before? In order to best use their abilities, superheroes need to master STEM subjects that help them save the world. Let’s create an amazing, never-before-seen superhero and explore how their abilities intersect with STEM subjects!
