Our Brains Together
The Problem
More than 50% of young people aren’t fully vaccinated against meningitis.
The Solution
Meningitis is a serious infection in the brain that can have lifelong repercussions like blindness, brain damage, limb loss and and can lead to death in as little as 24 hours after contracting it. Educate your friends about the dangers of not being fully vaccinated against meningitis and then go together to get the shots and protect yourselves and everyone around you.
How To Do This Campaign
Let’s put our brains together and get vaccinated!
Print out a picture of a brain (or make your own!) and post it on your friend’s door. Write "Let's put our brains together and do something fun this week. You come up with one activity and I will too" on the brain that you printed out.
The activity that you will suggest is getting the meningitis vaccine together. Your friend can suggest anything! Share the ideas and then go off and do them. You'll spend time with a friend doing something fun and protect yourselves from a potentially deadly infection.
