“This is extremely important to me because I believe everyone has times in their lives when help is needed. If I am able to provide those who can’t with simple self-care items and snacks, why wouldn’t I?”

“I supervised a fresh food garden for the local homeless shelter/food bank. We grew, harvested, and donated 3,048 pounds of fresh food! Everyone should have access to fresh fruits and vegetables.”

“This campaign is important to me because I am passionate about women’s health and confidence. Women’s shelters are always in desperate need of items such as hair care products and feminine products. I saw a need in my community and decided to do something about it.”

“Volunteering at the local homeless shelter gave me a better understanding of how this sector of my community is struggling and needs assistance. I met so many people who...have nothing. The emotional stories that people shared with me were so heartbreaking; it really affected me. This experience inspired me to take action and share my compassion and generosity by donating toiletry bags to help those in need.”
