Sustainability is one of Gen Z's top issues, and we’re ready to commit to making changes that reduce our carbon footprint.

One sure way to do that is by recycling plastic water bottles. And when we use them, let’s do it responsibly!

ABOUT TALKING TRASH

Improving the recycling infrastructure in our communities can lead to positive outcomes for the environment. As part of the Talking Trash program, you will gain more knowledge on how to properly recycle plastic bottles in your neighborhood, and use what you learn to make a lasting difference!

You could earn a $500 scholarship for taking the quiz and sharing your results with your friends!​

50 BOTTLES, 1 GOAL

Do your part to keep plastic bottles out of landfills and in recycling bins.

Collect and recycle a minimum of 50 plastic bottles (roughly the equivalent of 1lb of plastic) and you could earn volunteer credits and a $1,000 scholarship!

CHANGE

THE RECYCLING SYSTEM

A leadership development experience where six participants from high-impact states (TX, CA, LA), who are all passionate about recycling and climate justice, will be selected to build an advocacy campaign addressing a specific recycling problem in their communities.
