THE ART OF DEMOCRACY
The Art of Democracy educates and equips the next generation of young voters with the skills to share their civic story and become a force for change in and out of the voting booth.
Only 58% of young New Yorkers believe in their ability to effect change compared with 72% of their counterparts nationally. The Art of Democracy is a New York pilot program to help you share their civic story, and exercise your power to make an impact on the issues that affect you and your community.
ACTIONS
Through our 2023-2024 pilot of Art of Democracy in New York City, we convened nearly 1,000 young people and gathered stories from 100 in our Soundoff Storybooth Series.
As we expand Art of Democracy nationwide in 2024 and 2025, we will collect and amplify even more stories shared by thousands of young people to build a National Youth Agenda, ensuring the voices of young people are heard. Here’s what we’re hearing so far.
